“Damage and chaos” caused at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Wausau campus building, police looking to identy suspects

WAUSAU, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities are asking for the public’s help as they look to identify two individuals who appear to have caused “damage and chaos” in a building at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Wausau campus.

According to a release from the Wausau Police Department, two men entered the Arts Building on June 16 around 4:40 p.m.

Officers say the two allegedly broke art, started a fire inside the building, and shut the water to the building off. Officials add that these same two individuals were also caught on camera on August 23.

Anyone with information on who these two individuals are is asked to contact the Wausau Police Department or the Marathon County Crime Stoppers.
