Death in Paradise's Josephine Jobert in new look at detective show
Death in Paradise star Josephine Jobert is giving "main character" energy in a new look at her character in police drama Saint-Pierre.
Jobert, who returned as DS Florence Cassell at the end of season 13 of Death in Paradise, is set to play a detective solving crimes in another picturesque location.
Set in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, a French territory located just off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada, the show stars Jobert as Deputy Chief Geneviève 'Arch' Archambault, a detective originally from Paris.

The official Instagram page for the series has shared video from a behind-the-scenes photoshoot for Jobert's character Geneviève, with the detective wearing a black jumper and matching trousers with a beige coat.
The caption on the post from the official Saint-Pierre Instagram account reads: "Main character moments with @josephinejobert_official."
According to Saint-Pierre's logline, Geneviève finds herself working with Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Inspector Donny 'Fitz' Fitzpatrick (Allan Hawco) when he's exiled to the island after he pokes his nose into the dodgy affairs of a local politician.
"As if by fate, these two seasoned officers – with very different policing skills and approaches – are forced together to solve unique and exciting crimes," the synopsis reads.
