Democrats launch first ad blitz for Harris, Walz ticket
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) on Monday launched its first paid advertising blitz to promote their new presidential ticket of Vice President Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D).
The blitz will include an ad on a billboard in the middle of the Las Vegas strip, as well as ads on more than 80 billboards across seven battleground states. The billboards will draw “the contrast between Vice President Harris’ bright vision for the future and Donald Trump’s weird campaign of lies and vengeance,” the DNC announced.
The Las Vegas and other billboards will include images of Harris and Walz with the caption, “fighting for you” and images of former President Trump and Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) with the caption, “out for themselves.”
Billboards also will be visible in Phoenix, as well as in Georgia in Atlanta, Macon and Savannah. Additionally, they will be in Detroit and Grand Rapids, Mich., as well as Asheville, Charlotte, and Raleigh in North Carolina.
The DNC is also set to have the billboards in Las Vegas and Reno, Nev., as well as Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg in Pennsylvania. They also will be in Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Green Bay and Eau Claire.
