Denham Springs man arrested, charged in child porn investigation
LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in connection to a child porn investigation.
Everette Walker, 25, of Denham Springs, was arrested and booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center.
He was charged with eight counts of pornography involving juveniles, seven counts of failure to register and notify as a sex offender or child predator, three counts of unlawful contact sex offender victim (felony) and one count of unlawful contact sex offender victim (misdemeanor).
Detectives with the LPSO Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, with the help of the Louisiana Bureau of Investigations/Attorney General’s Office, started an investigation in June after a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tip.

According to Sheriff Jason Ard, during the investigation, detectives discovered social media accounts that belonged to Walker. Ard stated that Walker “is an active registered sex offender residing in Livingston Parish.”
Walker’s bond is set at $400,000. This is an ongoing investigation.
