The driver, identified as a 50-year-old man from the Pulaski area, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities believe alcohol to be a factor in the crash and also noted that the man was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Based on an initial investigation, deputies say the motorcycle was heading west on County Road E near a curve at Lodge Road when the driver failed to slow for the curve, lost control and ‘flipped numerous times.’

The crash remains under investigation.
