An OCSO news release said 66-year-old Charles Gallagher was arrested on July 5 and charged with robbery without a weapon.
Deputies said on July 3, a suspect went to the Truist Bank on Emerald Coast Parkway and, using a note, demanded money from a bank clerk.
“During the investigation, the defendant’s 2017 black Maserati was spotted at a nearby business without a license plate and with covered insignia in an apparent attempt to conceal its identity,” read the release.
Deputies were able to get a search warrant for Gallagher’s car, and inside, they found a bag with cash, a light blue surgical mask, a pair of gloves, and more, according to an OCSO news release.
Gallagher denies any involvement in the incident, the release said.
