“This man is a convicted felon and sexual predator, who has been sentenced on 14 counts of sexual assault and kidnapping over the last 26 years,” Agnifilo states regarding Cordello-Smith. “His resume now includes committing a fraud on the court from prison, as Mr. Combs has never heard of him let alone been served with any lawsuit. Original story below…
A Michigan judge has ruled in favor of an inmate named Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith, who accused Diddy of drugging and sexually assaulting him at a Detroit party in 1997.
According to a report by Detroit Metro Times, Judge Anna Marie Anzalone awarded the $100,000,000 default judgment to Cardello-Smith on Monday (Sept. 9).
Cardello-Smith stated to the outlet that he and the disgraced music mogul go “way back,” as he met him while working in the “Detroit hospitality industry in the late ‘90s.”
After he became incarcerated, Cordell-Smith alleged that Diddy visited him and offered him $2,300,000 to drop charges against him. However, he claimed to have rejected the hush money. To prove his claim, he also provided records showing Diddy’s name in his visitation history.
At the time of the alleged visitation, Cardello-Smith claimed he and Diddy had a “one-on-one” meeting, later meeting with the Bad Boy CEO’s financial adviser.
“Diddy stated that he would make me an offer to end the case and what happened to me because of other things that he stated he has going on in his life that require his money right now,” Cardello-Smith reportedly stated to the judge.
To acquire money for damages, Cordello-Smith claimed Diddy told him he would sell his property — presumably referring to his L.A. property — for $70,000,000.
“He did it the day after I served him the suit,” he claimed.
Cordell’s-Smith claimed that he threatened to pursue action against Diddy, to which the 54-year-old allegedly responded, “You know how we get down.”
As Diddy failed to appear in court on Monday (Sept. 9), Judge Anzalone was reportedly awarded the $100,000,000 default judgment to Cardello-Smith.

According to Metro Times, the sum just may be the largest awarded to a non-attorney and a currently incarcerated inmate in history.
