Doctor Who's Ncuti Gatwa reacts to new waxwork model
Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa has shared his amazed reaction to getting a waxwork model.
The actor has had his likeness replicated at Madame Tussauds – reaching truly iconic status – and it seems he is just as delighted as the rest of us.
The wax museum unveiled Gatwa's model on Instagram ahead of its display to the public from tomorrow (July 19), posting a clip of the star getting his first glimpse.
"That is amazing!" Gatwa declared, as Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies admits the likeness is "so good".
"It's the teeth," the actor goes on to notice, Davies calling it a "[once] in a lifetime smile".
"You've so captured him," the show boss adds. "Not just the likeness, but the spirit is there. It's shining out of him."
"I just don't know how you've done it. It's so brilliant, it's brilliant!" Gatwa goes on to say.

The Doctor star later reposted the clip in his Instagram Stories, writing: "Like seriously what is going on in my life!!"
Gatwa made his debut as the Fifteenth Doctor last year, and recently aired his full first season of the programme.
Ahead of its debut, the star opened up about shaping his Doctor's personality, revealing he was influenced by companion actor Millie Gibson (Ruby Sunday).

"I think when Millie Gibson walked into the audition room, I was like, I know where I want to take this character," Gatwa told Digital Spy and other media.
"The dynamic of the Doctor and the companion is so essential to the show. The companion teaches the Doctor so much and vice versa. As soon as you walked in, I was like, we would have got in so much trouble at school. That is where I want to take the Doctor."
Doctor Who airs on BBC One in the UK and Disney+ elsewhere. Classic episodes of Doctor Who are available on streaming service BBC iPlayer in the UK.
