Dog injured at local golf course: Chardon police
CHARDON, Ohio (WJW) – Prosecutors in Geauga County are reviewing details of an incident that left a dog injured near a local golf course.
On Sunday, August 4, a woman heard her dog, Milo, cry out around 11:30 a.m., according to a press release from Chardon police.

Milo was in the backyard of her property, which backs up to the Chardon Lakes Golf Course.
The woman said she found her dog injured. She believed it may have happened after an encounter with a golfer who she told police she saw leaving her yard.
Milo was taken to a veterinary hospital and treated.
Police said they identified and interviewed the golfer but they are not being identified as charges have not been filed in the case.

Police said Milo is at home recovering with his family.
Prosecutors will determine whether to bring charges.
