A CNBC spokesperson did not return a request for comment.
A Trump campaign official said that “the interview was pulled due to a scheduling conflict.” Trump will be sitting down with Bloomberg today for a conversation on the economy.
The final three weeks of the presidential campaign has put a special spotlight on campaign media appearances, as Trump and Kamala Harris seek to win over remaining undecided voters.
Harris has attacked Trump for not sitting down with 60 Minutes last week. He has slammed the show and CBS for an edit made to one of her answers in the interview.
Harris will appear with Charlamagne Tha God for a town hall in Detroit later today, while Trump is doing a Fox News town hall focused on issues impacting women, moderated by Harris Faulkner. That will air on Fox News on Wednesday. Harris will do her first Fox News interview with Bret Baier later on Wednesday.
