Suspect charged after Freeman father and son are shot and killed
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting where two people died on Friday afternoon.
The sheriff’s office says deputies went to Main and Washington at about 1 p.m. where they found the victims, and found someone who was taken in for questioning. The sheriff’s office tells FOX4 the shooting happened at an apartment.
One of the victims was declared dead at the scene, the other was taken to a hospital, but died from their injuries.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office identified the victims as 47-year-old Michael Spear and 27-year-old Brian Spear, both of Freeman. The two were father and son.

On Saturday afternoon, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office announced that Misty M. Stufflebean, 43, of Harrisonville has been charged in connection to the shooting. The sheriff’s office claims that Stufflebean is being charged with first-degree burglary and first degree assault.
The sheriff’s office also says that a male subject was questioned and released during the investigation. Stufflebean was questioned before she was arrested. The judge in this case ordered that she be held without bond at the Cass County Jail.
