Door County Sheriff’s Office identifies victim of deadly crash as 74-year-old Green Bay man
LIBERTY GROVE, Wis. (WFRV) – A man from Green Bay was identified as the person who died in a crash in Door County on October 10.
According to the Door County Sheriff’s Office, the driver involved in the one-vehicle deadly crash was identified as 74-year-old David Whitton from Green Bay. Authorities say that an autopsy was done and the results are still pending.

The incident is still under investigation.
The initial release said that deputies got a report of a vehicle that drove off the ferry dock around 7:25 p.m. on October 10. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
