Downton Abbey star joins Matt Smith in West End play
Jessica Brown Findlay has joined the cast of West End play An Enemy of the People with Matt Smith in the lead role.
Brown Findlay, known for the role of Lady Sybil Crawley in Downton Abbey, has been cast in the upcoming adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's 1882 play of the same name from director Thomas Ostermeier.
As announced in September, Smith, who's set to return as Daemon Targaryen in the second season of House of the Dragon, will be playing Dr Thomas Stockmann. Brown Findlay will portray Katharina Stockmann, Thomas's wife.

The play sees Dr Stockmann uncovering a contaminated water scandal in the spa town he and his family call home. Refusing to cover up what he's found out, he's ostracised by the community and branded a public enemy.
Rounding out the cast of An Enemy of the People are Priyanga Burford as Aslaksen, Zachary Hart as Billing, Paul Hilton as Peter Stockmann, Nigel Lindsay as Morten Kiil, and Shubham Saraf as Hovstad.
"It's a privilege to be starting rehearsals in the West End for the first time with a cast of this calibre, joining Matt Smith as Thomas Stockmann," Ostermeier said in a statement.
