Driver in Wisconsin arrested for OWI after rollover crash, two residences damaged
CALEDONIA, Wis. (WFRV) – A man in western Wisconsin was arrested after a Friday evening crash that caused damage to multiple vehicles and residences.
According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office, on October 4 around 10 p.m., authorities were notified of a one-vehicle crash on County Road K just south of Turkey Trot Lane. It was reported that the vehicle was on fire with someone still inside.
When authorities got to the scene, the vehicle was reportedly no longer on fire and the person was out of the vehicle. The release claimed that the vehicle was driving north when it went off the road and hit a tree.

The vehicle then rolled ‘several’ times, according to authorities. Debris from the crashing vehicle reportedly caused damage to two vehicles and two residences.
Authorities say the driver only had minor injuries from the crash but was arrested for operating while intoxicated. The release said that excessive speed and impaired driving are believed to be factors in the crash.
