This East Peoria buffet is now open. Here's what to know before you go
The wait is over, buffet lovers.
Farmer’s Buffet ? located at 206 W. Camp St. in East Peoria ? is open for business. The building had once operated as Grand Village Buffet but was most recently home to Pho Noodle House.
The community has been abuzz with discussions about the fate of Pho Noodle House and speculation about the buffet's opening. So, here's what to know before visiting Farmer's Buffet.

What's on the menu at Farmer's Buffet?
Customers will find a variety of American dishes at Farmer's Buffet. Before the restaurant's opening, owner Sam Mach said the business would include a salad bar, a carving station, a dessert bar and menu items such as:
Pork chops
Chicken wings
Pizza
Meatloaf
Mach said he planned to offer daily specials at Farmer's Buffet, as well.

How much does the buffet cost?
According to a photo uploaded by the business on Google, Farmer's Buffet will charge $19.50 for adults. Those 65 and older can dine for $17.50, and to-go orders are listed for $12 per pound. The price varies for children 3 to 14 years old ? ranging from $3 to $17.
Beverages are offered for an additional charge. These include:
Fountain drink for $2
Tea for $3.50
Coffee for $5

When is Farmer's Buffet open?
The buffet will be open from 11:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, according to Google. Farmer's Buffet will be closed Monday through Wednesday.
