In the scenes, which the show worked hard to keep under wraps during the filming, viewers will see Emma get visibly upset and wonder if she is strong enough to go through with saying goodbye to her daughter.
Kensit previously made a post on Instagram thanking the cast and crew for being so welcoming during her stint on the soap. "Cannot thank my amazing cast members at the simply awesome experience I’ve had working on @eastenders for being so kind and loving to me," she wrote.
"Big thank you to the BBC, the producers, writers, crew and the EE family. Costume, makeup, ADs, Ang at the help desk.. Jamie and Danielle for making me laugh my arse off everyday. I love you both… Emma Barton... so so many people… A new adventure begins."

Meanwhile, EastEnders boss Chris Clenshaw has teased a handful of the biggest storylines that we can expect as we move into the summer holiday months.
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer. Lola's funeral episode airs on Tuesday (June 27).
