EF-0 tornado touches down in Genesee County

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An EF-0 tornado touched down in the Town of Pavilion and caused tree damage along a path spanning three-quarters of a mile on Monday, the National Weather Service announced. No injuries or deaths were reported.

Monday’s tornado comes after the remnant storms from Hurricane Beryl that caused four tornadoes — an EF-2, EF-1, and two EF-0s — to hit Western New York last Wednesday in a span of two hours.
