Authorities said the misconduct involved a current and former student at the school.
“We are early in the investigation, but we have determined the alleged misconduct did not occur during school hours or on school property,” Kenosha County Sheriff David Zoerner said.
The woman was taken to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office for questioning and is being held on related charges at the Kenosha County Jail. Officials said additional charges could be filed as the investigation continues.
“We acknowledge the potential impact of this incident on the community,” Zoerner said. “The school district is cooperating with the investigation.”
