Elizabeth Cook headlining ‘Song of the Mountains’ in April
MARION, Va. (WFXR)– Elizabeth Cook is set to headline April’s Song of the Mountains edition on Saturday, April 6 at the Lincoln Theater at 6:00 p.m.
Cook, an American Country songwriter and singer, has played over 400 times on the Grand Ole Opry and puts her passion into her lyrics.
“This is her first time on the show,” said Song of the Mountains host Tim White on WFXR News. “She’s a fabulous singer and songwriter.”

Along with Cook on April 6, the Lincoln Theater will host bluegrass band Little Roy and Lizzy along with Hunter Berry on the fiddle. Berry, who grew up around Marion, played for over 20 years in Rhonda Vincent and Rage before joining Little Roy and Lizzy.
Song of the Mountains is a concert-based show that incorporates both traditional and contemporary performance styles in old-time and bluegrass music from the region’s brightest stars, with each show recorded on the first Saturday of the month.
Tickets to this show are still available with prices ranging from $40-$55.
