Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade gets engaged
Eminem’s extended family is getting bigger.
The Grammy-winning rapper’s daughter Hailie Jade got engaged Saturday to her longtime boyfriend, Evan McClintock, she announced Monday.
Hailie, 27, posted multiple Instagram photos of the proposal, including one showing McClintock down on one knee and another offering a close-up glimpse of the diamond ring.
“I love you @evanmcclintock11,” she captioned the post.
Hailie, a fashion influencer who hosts the “Just a Little Shady” podcast, was first linked to McClintock in 2016. She is a frequent subject of her controversial dad’s lyrics, including in tracks such as “Hailie’s Song” and “My Dad’s Gone Crazy.”
Her engagement received celebratory comments from several celebrities, including singer Skylar Grey, who has multiple songs with her father.
“Omg congrats!!!!” Grey wrote.
Singing sisters Aly & AJ also shared a message from their joint account, writing, “You’re all grown up ... congrats Hailie!”
Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, is a 15-time Grammy winner. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last November. His hits include “The Real Slim Shady” and “Lose Yourself.”
