Erie County DMVs to close Saturday due to global IT outage
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Some Auto Bureau branches in Erie County are expected to be closed Saturday following a global CrowdStrike outage that left a number of local businesses struggling Friday.
Erie County Clerk Michael Kearns says that the Eastern Hills Mall location in Buffalo and the Southgate Plaza location in West Seneca will be affected.
Anyone with a scheduled appointment for July 20 at either location will receive next-step instructions in their email.
