The claim: Video shows Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez being thrown out of Congress
Some social media users are sharing a video they claim shows Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., being thrown out of Congress.
"AOC PULLS HUMILIATING Stunts in Congress, Gets THROWN Out," reads the caption of an Oct. 10 Facebook post featuring the video.
The video garnered more than 21,000 views in two days. Similar viral iterations have been shared on Facebook.
But the claim is false. The video includes a clip of Ocasio-Cortez speaking at a 2019 congressional hearing, followed by clips of Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., and Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, speaking. At no point does the video show Ocasio-Cortez being thrown out of Congress.

Video doesn't show Ocasio-Cortez being thrown out
The video begins with a clip of Ocasio-Cortez speaking at a 2019 House committee hearing titled, "Trump’s Wrong Turn on Clean Cars: The Effects of Fuel Efficiency Rollbacks on the Climate, Car Companies and California." In the clip, the Democratic lawmaker can be heard asking why other members of Congress were trying to adjourn the hearing. At no point in the video is she removed from the hearing or shown engaging in any "humiliating stunts."
Fact check: Video shows Doug Collins at impeachment hearings, not swearing at Joe Biden
The second clip shows Tlaib speaking at the same 2019 hearing while the final clip shows Cruz questioning Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz during a December 2019 Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. Neither Cruz nor Tlaib mention Ocasio-Cortez.
