FBI-Oregon seeking man for ‘critical’ info on child exploitation investigation
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public’s help identifying a man who may have critical information on the identity of a child victim in an ongoing sexual exploitation investigation.
The initial video of the man, known only as John Doe 48, was first recorded by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in December of 2023. Authorities said data embedded in the video indicate that the file was made in October of that year.
The FBI described John Doe 48 as a white man between the ages of 45 and 65 with dark hair and a gray beard. Officials said he has a tattoo on each of his forearms and was heard speaking English in the video.
