FDA recall impacts numerous ice cream brands sold nationwide over listeria risk
TOPEKA (KSNT) – Federal health authorities are warning shoppers to check their freezers for several brands of recalled ice cream which could lead to serious illness.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) posted a recall notice on Monday, June 24 involving ice cream produced by Totally Cool, Inc. of Maryland. The company is recalling several brands of ice cream products as they may be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes.
