Former Cleveland pitcher says missing daughter found
AUSTIN, Texas (WJW) — After his daughter reportedly went missing from the Austin area, a former Cleveland Indians pitcher now says his daughter is safe.
Greg Swindell — who pitched with multiple ball clubs throughout his 17-season career but was drafted No. 2 by Cleveland in 1986 — took to social media this weekend saying his daughter Brenna Swindell hadn’t been seen by family or friends since Thursday.

Early Tuesday morning on August 27, Swindell said his daughter had been found.
“She has been found. That’s all we have for now. Thank you to everyone. And I mean everyone who helped in the process,” Swindell wrote on social media.
Brenna’s phone had reportedly been turned off, and her three children had not heard from her either, Swindell said.
Sunday, Greg, updated a Facebook post to indicate they believed she was with her ex-boyfriend in Colorado, saying “We feel she is in danger.”
“If you see this, we all love you so much and need you home!” the 59-year-old posted to his daughter.
