With just a week until Election Day, Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign team released a new video with the legendary Will Ferrell.

In the 30-second clip, the comic appears with a simple message for Americans, and especially the Garys of the world. “This election is going to be one of the closest in history. Your vote will make the difference,” emphasizes Ferrell, a seeming nod toward a certain Saturday Night Live character. “That means you, Gary!”

After showing no remorse for a defeatist attitude — unceremoniously telling Gary to “shut the fuck up!” — Ferrell reminds viewers: “Last time, only a few thousand votes kept Trump out of office. And this time, we will hold you personally responsible, Gary.” As the video concludes, he quips, “Don’t forget to vote, Gary!”

Earlier this year, Ferrell released Netflix’s Will & Harper, a documentary that follows the actor on a roadtrip with his best friend Harper Steele, a former SNL head writer who came out as transgender. Ferrell is one of the numerous celebrities who have backed Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, in this year’s race to the White House.

Most recently, Beyoncé joined Harris at a rally in Houston, along with fellow singer and actress Kelly Rowland. “We are at the precipice of an enormous shift. I’m not here as a celebrity. I’m not here as a politician. I’m here as a mother,” Beyoncé said from the stage. “A mother who cares about the world our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we are not divided, our past or present or future.”

Following a rally for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump‘s rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night, during which comedian Tony Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a “floating pile of garbage,” Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin doubled down on their endorsement of Harris following the backlash from Hinchcliffe’s set.

Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny also supported Harris over the weekend, sharing a video in which the vice president outlined her agenda to build an “opportunity economy” for Puerto Rico. “I will never forget what Donald Trump did and what he did not do when Puerto Rico needed a caring and competent leader,” she says in the clip shared by Bad Bunny, Lopez, and Martin. “He abandoned the island. He tried to block aid after back-to-back devastating hurricanes and offered nothing more than paper towels and insults.”

“Puerto Ricans deserve better,” Harris concluded. “As president, I will always fight for you and your families. And together, we can turn the page and chart a new and joyful way forward.”
