Fire causes $95K in damage to East Amherst home
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Friday night fire caused an estimated total of $95,000 in damage to a home at Regents Park in East Amherst, fire officials announced.
Officials said just before 8:30 p.m., a caller reported an odor of possible electrical burning and smoke in a neighbor’s house.
According to fire officials, the fire was in the wall of a bedroom on the second floor and spread to the attic.
The fire was under control just before 9 p.m. and no injuries were reported, officials said.
The incident remains under investigation.
