First look at Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan in BBC Christmas special
The BBC has released the first-look images of the Dodger Christmas special, featuring Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan, Lost in Space's Toby Stephens, and The Inbetweeners' Alex Macqueen as guest stars.
The CBBC series is getting a 55-minute special titled 'Coronation' to air over the festive season on BBC One, CBBC and iPlayer. The plot will see Fagin and his crew set their sights on their biggest target yet: Queen Victoria's crown from the Coronation ceremony.
Doctor Who's Christopher Eccleston, Star Stories' Rhys Thomas and Disenchantment's Lucy Montgomery are back as Fagin, PC Duff and Minnie Bilge, respectively (with the latter two once again on writing duties).

Coughlan is playing Queen Victoria, Stephens is US President Martin Van Buren, and Macqueen is John Bridge, The Crown Jeweller.
We've also got Outlander's Simon Callow, comedian Paul Whitehouse, and Yonderland's Dan Renton Skinner as The Archbishop of Cantberbury, Royston, Chief of the Yeoman Guard, and Maurice The Beefeater, respectively.
"Dodger just keeps getting bigger and better - look at that glittering guest cast! We are overjoyed to be back in the top hat and what a thrill to pack another Coronation into an already regal year," Rhys Thomas and Lucy Montgomery said in a press release.

The BBC's Senior Head of Children’s Commissioning 7+, Sarah Muller, added: "Dodger and the gang have delighted audiences with their hilarious antics and we're so pleased they're back with a fabulous cast and even more fun and spectacle."
It's not the only BBC Christmas special that Coughlan is involved with, as she's been seen filming around South Wales for the 2024 Doctor Who festive episode. She's also lent her voice to Apple TV+'s Christmas special, The Velveteen Rabbit.
Dodger series 1 and the three released specials are all available to stream on BBC iPlayer now. The exact date and time of this year's special are yet to be announced.
