MONTEGUT, La. (WGNO) — Five people were arrested on Monday following a drug investigation done by the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Patrol Division and Narcotics Division.
According to the TPSO, the investigation started in July after the CPD had begun receiving anonymous information reporting large amounts of drugs that were allegedly being sold by a person under the name “Armando” in the Montegut area.
The investigation led to TPSO investigators identifying 37-year-old Armando Joseph Brunet, of Montegut, as a suspect. TPSO officials said Brunet was then linked to at least two homes in the Montegut area, which agents and deputies began to monitor.
