Former asst. prosecutor to not face charges related to alleged finger biting incident
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The former assistant prosecutor of Greene County will not face charges related to a road rage incident in June.
Yesterday, the Montgomery County Grand Jury concluded that Christopher Murray will not face any charges in relation to the incident in which he was alleged to have bitten off another man’s finger.
Court documents show that the jury provided a “no true bill” resulting in the charges being dropped. Murray was arrested on June 30 on allegations of felonious and aggravated assault.
The incident occurred in the area of Woodman Drive overpass over State Route 35 on June 30 around 12:30 a.m. Officers responded to the scene on report of a fight and eventually found a man who’d sustained an injury to his middle finger.
Murray was placed on leave from the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office on July 9, before being fired from the office on August 8.
