Genesee County Sheriffs investigating “apparent homicide”
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an “apparent homicide” where a 59-year-old man is dead, they said Wednesday.
The man, identified as Michael G. Poole of the Olcott area, was found on Tuesday in the town of Alabama during an investigation into a missing person report out of Niagara County.
Authorities said a preliminary investigation shows that it appears to be an isolated incident and there is not a threat to the public.
