Gonzales man found shot to death inside his home, sheriff says
GONZALES, La. (BRPROUD) — The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was found dead inside his residence on Thursday, August 1.
According to APSO, deputies responded to an apartment along Louisiana Highway 44 in Gonzales at 1 a.m.
Deputies found the body of Mark Johnson Jr., 26, of Gonzales, with gunshot wounds.

The investigation remains ongoing and more information will be shared as it becomes available.
