Grand Island Bridge closures to know for this weekend

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Multiple lane closures are expected this weekend on the southbound South Grand Island Bridge and the northbound North Grand Island Bridge.

The left lane of the south bridge will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday until 9 a.m. Saturday due to ongoing construction.

The north bridge will be closed northbound from 6:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. Sunday for Pedal for Parks and will remain open to two way traffic southbound.

Drivers should expect significant delays and are urged to stay alert.
