The Grapevine Restaurant in Amherst closing
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Grapevine Restaurant, an Amherst staple for more than four decades, is closing, the owners announced Monday.
The restaurant owners, Tom and Liza Pane, are retiring.
The restaurant has served up casual eats on Niagara Falls Boulevard for 41 years, known for its large fish tank inside the restaurant.
“Our family business has had so many awesome experiences in the community, and it brings us great satisfaction,” the Pane family said in a release Monday. “We want to say thank you to everyone who dined with us, whether you have been dining with us for years or just now found us. We are grateful for your continued support and loyalty that you have brought us.”
Any gift cards can be reimbursed at The Grapevine Banquets, located on Dick Road in Depew, until Dec. 30.
