GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — The Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity celebrated the arrival of its new ReStore truck Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event included brief remarks before the ribbon was cut.

The new truck will be a crucial resource, enabling the organization to collect donated items from the community, keep materials out of landfills, and generate revenue to support affordable homeownership in Brown County.

The truck replaces the nonprofit’s previous vehicle, which broke down and was deemed unusable, creating challenges for volunteers.

The ReStore serves as a major funding source for Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity.
