Grey’s Anatomy star Natalie Morales returning for season 21
Grey's Anatomy star Natalie Morales is returning for season 21, it has been confirmed.
The actor joined the long-running medical drama in season 20 as Dr Monica Beltran. She was involved in a 'will they, won't they' story with Amelia Sheperd, but she ended up with Winston Ndugu.
The show finished season 20 with fans wondering who would be coming back and who wouldn't, as Meredith Grey resigned, and Owen Hunt, Teddy Altman and Amelia were fired, with the new surgeons also threatening to walk out.

Now TheWrap is reporting that Morales will appear in six episodes of the upcoming season, beginning with episode 2. The actor also has the option to sign on for more episodes beyond that.
Meredith actor Ellen Pompeo will be back for season 21 for at least seven episodes, while Scott Speedman, who plays Meredith's love interest Nick Marsh, will appear in at least five episodes.
Camilla Luddington, who plays Jo Wilson, is also back, and recently revealed that reading the season 21 script left her "shooketh".

Speaking to her Grey's co-star and podcast co-host Jessica Capshaw a few weeks back, Luddington said: "And you know what's so funny and you know this, Jess, we never know what's going to happen. We are not given a heads-up, so I was reading the script in bed this morning and I was shooketh. I was shooketh.
"I was amazed and yeah, we're going back next week, I actually have a table read tomorrow."
Grey's Anatomy season 21 will air premiere on Thursday, September 26 at 10pm ET on ABC in the US. Previous seasons are streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
