Grey’s Anatomy star Scott Speedman confirmed for season 21 return
Scott Speedman will feature in more episodes of season 21 of Grey's Anatomy than he did in the show's previous season.
Speedman's character, Meredith Grey's on-again, off-again love interest Nick Marsh, is set to return in the new season in at least five episodes (via Deadline).
The news of Speedman's deal with ABC comes after Ellen Pompeo also upped her screen time for season 21, with Meredith appearing in at least seven episodes.

Pompeo had originally looked to scale down her scenes, with Meredith exiting temporarily in season 20 back in January 2023.
At the time, Pompeo opened up on her decision to leave Grey's on The Drew Barrymore Show, saying: "The show has been incredible to me and I've loved a lot of the experience. Listen, it's just I gotta mix it up a little bit."
Meanwhile, the new season is currently in production, which is set to premiere in late September.

A couple of weeks ago, Grey's star Camilla Luddington, who plays Jo Wilson, shared that reading the script for the season 21 premiere left her "shooketh".
"And you know what's so funny and you know this, Jess, we never know what's going to happen. We are not given a heads-up, so I was reading the script in bed this morning and I was shooketh," Luddington told her podcast co-host and Grey's co-star Jessica Capshaw.
"I was shooketh, I was amazed and yeah, we're going back next week, I actually have a table read tomorrow."
Grey's Anatomy season 21 will air premiere on Thursday, September 26 at 10pm ET on ABC in the US. Previous seasons are streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
