Hamburg’s Foxglove Pub closes one week after grand opening
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Foxglove Pub in Hamburg closed its business one week after its grand opening on June 22.
The pub, located on Buffalo Street, announced on social media that it was “calling it quits” this week, just days after starting the business. The closure comes after years of renovations to the building.
In social media posts that have since been deleted, the owners originally mentioned “questionable decisions” and “a series of unfortunate events.”
News 4 reached out to the owners, who did not want to speak on camera, about why they closed.
“We are closing because the bar industry is not something we want to pursue, so we plan on selling or leasing the property so someone else can carry out the vision we created,” they said.
