The Harris-Walz campaign confirmed three debates between the Harris-Walz and Trump-Vance tickets this election season.

“The debate about debates is over. Donald Trump's campaign accepted our proposal for three debates — two presidential and a vice-presidential debate,” said Michael Tyler, Communications Director for Harris-Walz 2024.

When is the first presidential debate between Harris and Trump?

The first presidential debate between Democratic nominee Harris and Republican nominee Trump will be on Sept. 10 in Philadelphia, as first announced by ABC. Network anchor/managing editor David Muir (“World News Tonight”) and anchor Linsey Davis (ABC News Live “Prime”) will moderate. The broadcast, "The ABC News Presidential Debate | Race for the White House” will start at 6 p.m. PST.

California viewers can tune in to the first presidential debate by watching ABC and or stream on 24/7 streaming network ABC News Live, Disney+ and Hulu.

When is the second Harris/Trump presidential debate?

The Harris-Walz campaign confirmed in a statement that a second debate will take place sometime in October, though an exact date has not been announced.

When is the vice-presidential debate?

Democratic vice-presidential nominee Walz and Republican nominee Vance will debate on Oct. 1, as announced by the CBS Network. Anchor and managing editor Norah O'Donnell ("CBS Evening News") and CBS News chief foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan will moderate. The network has not yet released a broadcast time.
