Harris-Walz campaign makes stops Monday in key swing states ahead of election
Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris will make campaign stops in three swing states on Monday: Chester County, Pa., Oakland County, Mich. and Waukesha County, Wisc. in the final stretch before Election Day. She will be joined by former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.).
The events, billed as conversations, will be moderated by Republican strategist Sarah Longwell and writer and conservative radio host Charlie Sykes, according to a senior campaign official. Longwell is a founding member of the Republican Accountability Project, and Skyes publicly endorsed Harris last week.
Cheney, along with her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, have both endorsed Harris for president, going against the Republican Party. She was ousted from her House seat in 2022 after being one of the 10 Republican representatives who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump over the Jan. 6 insurrection. She later served as the vice chair of the House select committee charged with investigating the attack on the Capitol.
