Heavy police presence on Menasha’s Appleton Road for active incident, avoid area
MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV) – A section of Menasha’s Appleton Road is closed down due to a heavy presence of law enforcement working to investigate an active incident.
The Menasha Police Department first posted about the incident on its Facebook page around 8:20 a.m. and have since posted an update. The update had no time stamp.
Officers are asking the public to avoid the 1600 block of Appleton Road and stated in the updated post that Appleton Road between Midway Road and Highway 10 is shut down along with the old Shopke parking lot.
