Houma police searching for ‘armed and dangerous’ armed robbery suspect

HOUMA, La. (WGNO) — Houma police are looking for an “armed and dangerous” man who they say robbed another man at gunpoint on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

According to the Houma Police Department, the victim claims he was robbed by Shawn Durkins in the 400 block of Authement Street. Durkins allegedly pointed a gun at him before leaving the scene with his phone, car keys and cash.
Police haven’t been able to find Durkins. Anyone with information regarding his location can call the HPD or Crimestoppers Bayou Region at 1-800-743-7433.
