Huntsville looking for applicants for Civic Engagement Academy

HUNTSVILLE, Ala (WHNT) — The city of Huntsville says it is looking for applicants for its Fall 2024 session of the Civic Engagement Academy (CEA).

The free, six week program is presented by the city’s Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. The city said CEA is a great way to learn more about city government and how it fits into the community. The program combines both classroom and interactive instruction providing participants with a full understanding of civic engagement.
