NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Tommy Tusa is almost ready to show you the work he’s doing inside Central Grocery, the famous French Quarter store that’s been in business since 1906.
Hurricane Ida hit in 2021, ripping off the roof, causing the walls to collapse and leaving nothing to salvage but the recipe at the sacred shrine to New Orleans number one sandwich.
