As the suspect vehicle was heading east on I90-94, deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle which refused to stop leading to a pursuit.

Officials say the pursuit went on for 11 miles with the driver reaching speeds up to 140 miles per hour before exiting onto Highway 60 and heading west towards the City of Lodi.

The pursuit was brought to a halt after an officer with the Lodi Police Department successfully deployed a tire deflation device on Highway 60 near Lindsay Road.

The vehicle came to a stop and both people inside were ordered out and arrested with the adult passenger later being released.
