'I'm A Celebrity' viewers in fits over Owen Warner's reaction to trial failure

I'm A Celebrity viewers were in fits watching Owen Warner discover he'd be on basic rations after a trial flop.

The Hollyoaks actor has made no secret of the fact he has a big appetite and is struggling on the modest diet in the jungle camp.

And he looked absolutely horrified when he heard that Boy George, Chris Moyles and Babatunde Aleshe had messed up the Angel of Agony Bushtucker trial and only managed to secure three out of a possible 11 stars, meaning a meagre meal for camp.

People watching the show spotted Warner's jaw drop and thought it was hilarious, flooding Twitter with memes and GIFs of his response.

"Owen is trying so hard not to cry," one tweeted.

"Owen looks DEVASTATED LMFAO," said another, while one said the actor looked "heartbroken".

Someone else posted: "I just know Owen is internally screaming rn."

"Owen’s on the verge of tears bless him," said another.

However, the TV star managed to squash down his disappointment and told the trio not to worry about only managing three stars, and said he felt "calm" about the whole thing.

Plenty of viewers were charmed and said he was a "sweetheart" for letting them off the hook.

But one quipped: "3 Stars... Don't lie Owen, he's gonna EAT SOMEBODY!!"

Others said they would love to send in some food.

"I’ve never agreed with pampering the celebs, but surely no one would complain if ITV just slipped Owen a couple of pizzas bless him," said one.

George, Moyles and Aleshe were gutted about the trial - which saw them having to pass stars up and down a tower - and felt as if they had let down their fellow campers.

Explaining what went wrong, Aleshe said he'd had "butterfingers".
