Jeff Glor Exits CBS News Amid Paramount Layoffs

Jeff Glor, who navigated a unique career journey at CBS News that had him lead “CBS Evening News” during a rough period and then lend new momentum to the network’s Saturday-morning news program, is leaving the news division, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Glor, who has co-anchored the Saturday morning broadcast since 2019, will exit amid a significant wave of layoffs at parent corporation Paramount Global, parent company of CBS..
