Jennifer Lopez's 11-Year-Old Daughter Singing Will Have You On The Floor
Jennifer Lopez spent all those years judging pop star hopefuls on “American Idol” when the next big star was actually in her backyard all along.
The “Dinero” singer might have to share the stage soon with her 11-year-old daughter Emme Maribel Mu?iz ― one of her two children with ex-husband Marc Anthony ― after a video of her belting out an Alicia Keys classic went viral.
In a video diary shared by Lopez on YouTube over the weekend, the multi-hyphenate performer gears up to debut her new song “Medicine” at the “Today” show’s summer concert series.
Before the show, her daughter takes over the rehearsal at Lopez’s request. After a little coaching and encouragement from mom, Emme then proceeds to blow everybody away with a soulful rendition of “If I Ain’t Got You” before turning back into a regular 11-year-old.

The performance is so impressive that Lopez even offers her daughter a spot singing on her upcoming It’s My Party Tour, which kicks off in Los Angeles June 7, so there’s still hope for a family duet.
“We should have her come out and do something on tour!” Lopez says in the video. “Want to put a little piece in this show? We’ll see, we’ll check it out. You don’t have to.”
The performance quickly won the preteen praise on the internet, with fans of her mother flooding the video with positive comments.
But this isn’t the first time Lopez has showcased her daughter’s singing chops.
“My favorite thing about Emme is her joyful demeanor,” the “Second Act” star revealed in a sit-down interview with her twins. “She’s always happy and her artistic quality. I love to hear Emme sing.”
And for Emme’s birthday in February, Lopez shared a sweet clip of her singing “How Far I’ll Go” from the Disney movie “Moana” alongside other happy family memories.
