Need a new job? Fond du Lac Regional Job Fair will host over 70 employers looking to hire April 18.
FOND DU LAC — More than 70 employers will represent a variety of open jobs April 18 at the Fond du Lac Regional Job Fair.
Sponsored by the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board and Fox Valley Job Centers, the fair will be open to job seekers from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Expo Center, 601 Martin Ave.
Industries looking for new hires include office, service, manufacturing, health care and more, with full-time, part-time, seasonal and temporary roles ranging from entry level to more skilled positions. Job seekers of all skill levels are invited to learn more about open positions and connect directly with hiring managers, with some conducting on-site job interviews.
"It’s not often you get to hand your resume right to a human being, versus submitting it online," Fox Valley Workforce Development Board CEO Anthony Snyder said.
"These will be real companies with real positions available, and it’s a unique opportunity for job seekers to connect directly with companies from across our region, so we urge job seekers to take full advantage," he added.
Attendees are encouraged to take copies of their resumes to share and to dress for the career they want. Anyone interested in a resume refresh can contact the Fox Cities Job Center – Menasha at 920-997-3272 for an in-person or virtual appointment.
