Juvenile driver hurt after crashing into buildings in Amherst
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A juvenile driver was hurt after he crashed a car into two buildings in Amherst early Monday morning, police said.
Police responded to the intersection of Harlem Road and Main Street just after 1:10 a.m. Monday, where the driver left the road and hit the buildings located at 4519 and 4521 Main St.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to ECMC. The male was charged with multiple traffic infractions. The damage to the buildings is estimated at $30,000.
The crash is still under investigation. Witnesses or anyone with video is asked to call the Amherst Police Department at (716) 689-1311.
